FAQ?
1. What makes your pruning different from what my gardener already does?
At Bespoke Pruning, we don’t just trim—we sculpt and care for each plant individually. With a deep understanding of horticulture, we work to improve plant health, shape, longevity, flowering, and fruiting. We view the garden as a living system, giving each plant the specific care it needs to thrive while ensuring the whole garden looks cohesive and beautiful.

3. Can you restore neglected or poorly pruned plants?
Absolutely. We specialize in pruning plans that restore health to overgrown or improperly pruned plants. With careful, phased pruning, we can renovate and rejuvenate your garden—bringing plants back to their natural form and full potential.

5. Do you remove pruning waste?
Yes, we offer two options:
-
Mulching and returning it to your garden to enrich the soil.
-
Full removal of green waste for an additional fee.

7. Are you qualified and insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, and our lead pruner holds a Certificate III in Horticulture. You’re in experienced, professional hands.

2. How often should I have my plants pruned?
It depends on the plant. Hedges may need pruning as often as every 6 weeks, while most shrubs, fruit trees, and ornamental plants benefit from seasonal pruning—once in winter and once in summer. We recommend a yearly maintenance plan, tailored to your garden's unique needs.

4. Do you offer advice on plant health or replacements?
Yes. We provide professional guidance on plant health, including pest and disease observations, and we can recommend replacements better suited to your climate and garden conditions.

6. Is your service expensive?
“Bespoke” means tailored—not overpriced. We charge $77 per hour (including GST) with a 3 hour minimum, offering skilled horticultural care that’s both effective and affordable. Each green space is different, and our approach ensures your garden gets the attention it truly needs.
